HELP SIGNING UP:
Signing up for the Academy Ballroom International™ Dance Directory is a two-step process. The first step is creating your account and verifying your e-mail address.
The second step is creating the listing.
1. Creating your account with Academy Ballroom International™ Dance Directory:
- Click on the “Submit Listing” button. This button is conveniently found in three locations: in the top horizontal navigation bar, on the side horizontal navigation bar, and in the footer navigation bar.
- Fill out the registration form. Only the fields marked with a red asterisk are required.

After you click “Submit/Enter,” an e-mail confirmation will be sent to you. Simply check your e-mail and click on the activation link. You’ll be asked to log in using the user name and password you have chosen. This information is also included in the e-mail for your safe keeping.
Why is this step needed? Spam is a huge concern on the internet. In order to protect your privacy and remain the integrity of our directory, we require each member to provide us with a valid e-mail address. To find out more about how Academy Ballroom International™ Dance Directory is protecting your privacy, please read our “Terms and Conditions” page, located at the bottom of the submission form.
2. Creating your listing with Academy Ballroom International Dance Directory:
- Log in. There are three ways to get to the login page. You can follow the activation link, you can click on the Member Login link on the Home page of our site, or you can use the login box located in the top horizontal navigation bar on each page.
- Click on the “Add Listing” button. Fill out the listing form with as much information as you would like to show. Keep in mind that fields marked with a red asterisk are required; all other fields are optional.
- Click “Submit/Enter”. Pending confirmation, your listing will appear in our directory.

HELP EDITING YOUR LISTINGS:
Once your account is created, you will be able to manage your information from our control panel. You’ll have options to:
Edit your personal information
Edit your listings
Delete your listings
View your invoices
Upload and manage your banners (Not available with all membership types)
Upgrade your membership
Upload and manage your images
Upload and manage your files
And much, much more.
TO EDIT YOUR EXISTING LISTING:
- Log in to your account.
- Under “Listings,” click on the desired listing or on the “View/Edit” link that appears next to it.
- You will be shown a listing summary. Click on “Edit Listing” at the top to make your changes.
- When you are done editing, click “Enter/Submit” for your changes to take effect.
TO EDIT YOUR BANNERS, IMAGES, CATEGORIES, PRODUCTS, or DOCUMENTS:
- Log in to your account.
- Under “Listings,” click on the desired listing or on the “View/Edit” link that appears next to it.
- At the top of the next page, you’ll be shown “Edit” links.
- Click on the appropriate edit link for what you would like to update.
- Fill out the self-explanatory fields. Don’t worry about making mistakes. You can always go back and edit your listings again.

TO UPGRADE OR DOWNGRADE YOUR LISTING:
- Log in to your account.
- Under “Listings,” click on the desired listing or on the “View/Edit” link that appears next to it.
- On the top left-hand side of the next page, you’ll be shown the “Upgrade/Downgrade” pull down menu.
- Select the appropriate membership and click on “Enter/Submit”. Your membership will be updated, and you will instantly have access to all the new features.
SCORE CARD:
Academy Ballroom International™ Dance Directory features a member’s traffic score card. You can accurately track:
The number of hits to your listing
The number of redirects from your listing to your website
The number of banner exposures
The number of banner hits
The banner CTR (Click Through Rate) %
The number of product hits
The number of reviews
Your current star rating

(This feature is included for all members, regardless of the type of membership.)
