Charles Gibbs (Smooth, Rhythm)

With a background on the musical theatre and opera stage, Charles has been dancing in some form or another nearly all his life. He competes and instructs primarily in American Smooth and Rhythm, and teaches out of the Academy Ballroom-Knoxville studio. His students range in age from 11 to 84, and he teaches amateur couples as well as singles. Charles also teaches Ballroom as part of the physical education curriculum at the University of Tennessee. From the absolute beginner social dancer to an aspiring competitor, Charles can improve your dancing and guarantee that you will have fun in the process.
